Success Comes From Within

Success comes from within… not from the outside…

I hear of so many people wanting to quit programs because their sponsor is not there for them, or is no longer with the program.

Let me give you a clue, folks. Your sponsor is not responsible for your success. Your chosen program is not responsible for your success. You, and YOU alone are responsible for your success.

Being an Entrepreneur is about taking the lead and leading, not following. Leaders gather their resources and then they take action. They don’t need anyone to tell them what to do, when to do it, or how to do it – they just do it. Their bosses used to tell them what to do. As an Entrepreneur, you are your own boss – you give the directions to yourself now.

Success is a mindset. Just as failure is a mindset. You have to have a successful mindset in order to be successful. If you have a failure mindset, then no matter what you do, you will be destined to fail.

Our brains are like a programmable mechanism. What you feed it, determines the outcome from it. If you program yourself with thoughts of “I’m not worthy”, “I don’t deserve it”, “I can’t do this”, “I’ll never get this right”, “I’ll never be as successful as so and so”, or anything of the like, then situations will present themselves to prove you right. And vice versa – if you program yourself with thoughts of “I am successful”, “I am worthy”, “I am deserving”, “I can do this”, then situations will present themselves to prove you right.

You have to decide to be successful. You have to decide that you are worth it and deserve it. You have to decide that you can and will do it. You have to decide to be more successful than you’ve ever been before.

One thing you can do, is stop comparing yourself to others. Because, let me tell you, you will never measure up to someone else. But, guess what? You’re not supposed to. You are YOU. You are not like others, and others are not like you. We are all individuals and we should treat ourselves as such.

I understand that there is a lot of competition out there and that we have had it beat in our brains since birth that we need to be better than someone else. But in all reality, the only one we are in competition with is ourselves. If we can just be better than ourselves each day than we were the day before, that’s what it’s all about.

We have to stop looking to outside sources to “make” us a success. Success is all about you and what you want. Not what your parents want, not what your co-workers want, not what your neighbors want, but what YOU want.

If YOU want to be a success, look within yourself and ask yourself if that is what you truly want. Do you really want that success? Are you ready for success? Are you comfortable with success? Do you really want to be an Entrepreneur, your own boss? Are you really comfortable making the kind of money you envision making? Are you ready to change your mindset – everything that you have known so far to be “true”? I know it can be done. Do you?

It’s all up to you. You just have to decide that you want it and then do it. Believe in yourself and you’ll fly high. You can be a success if you choose to be. Success comes from within, it starts with you, and it ends with you.

There’s More To Life

There’s More To Life, folks, than just existing…

So many people wander aimlessly through life. They have no direction. They have no goals. They have no dreams.

Your average life does not have to be as good as it gets. There is more to life if you want it.

There are a few quotes I’ve heard over the years…

“If You Don’t Know Where You’re Going, How Will You Know Once You’re There?”
“If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.”
“If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll probably end up somewhere else.”

These are so true. If you don’t know where you are going, how are you ever going to get there? And if you don’t know where you’re going, well, anywhere you land, will be where you were going… Do you really want to leave it to chance? Do you really just want to accept whatever comes down the pike?

If going to work every day, sitting in a little cubicle or behind a desk, moaning and complaining about how awful it is and how miserable you are… If sitting around watching the “boob tube” or as we like to say “electronic income reducer”… If playing games all day, like Farmville, Mafia Wars, or World of Warcraft (WoW)… If those are all things that you do… I like to call those survival tactics and time wasters. That isn’t really living… that’s just existing and passing time.

There is more to life than just that. Life shouldn’t be deduced into simply existing and surviving… That’s boring and unproductive. I can’t believe that most people live like that. It’s like they are totally blinded to the potential within themselves to be something more, to have a life worth living and enjoying…

I challenge you to think about what you would like your life to be like if there were no limitations on time or finances or ability. Truly think about the things that you want out of life. What is your vision of a perfect life? What would your daily activities be? Think about this – in fact, give it a LOT of thought. Map it out in your mind. Make sure to include all of your senses – what it looks like, sounds like, feels like, smells like, even tastes like. The more of your senses you involve, the stronger the vision, the stronger the vision, the more you program yourself for what it is you truly want.

Now… it’s not just as easy as thinking about what you want out of life and creating your map in your mind. You have to take the necessary actions to bring about the goals you seek. You must take the actions necessary to move you in the right direction towards that vision.

Some people use whiteboards to write phrases on, or a bulletin board to put pictures on. I go one step further. I make “Mind Movies“. A mind movie is a video that includes both the phrases and pictures which can help stimulate more of the senses to give you a more vivid experience in helping you realize your dreams than the stand alone methods can.

Once you have decided what it is you want, and have it all mapped out in your head, and put it down on something, whether it’s writing it out, putting phrases on a whiteboard, putting pictures on a bulletin board, or making a Mind Movie, you have to take the appropriate action to get yourself there. You can’t just visualize it and then think that all you have to do is wait for it to come to you. Nothing is achieved from laziness. You have to take the ideas and inspirations you will receive and then roll with them.

Once you decide where it is that you want to go, the universe will mysteriously direct you on how to get there. Opportunities will pop up, you will get ideas and/or inspirations of things you can do. When that happens, you have to grab the bull by the horns and go for it. This is the universe directing you towards what you want. Don’t ignore it. This is your chance to create the life that you want.

Now… if watching TV, playing games, and merely existing or surviving is what you want out of life. Well, more power to you, I can’t stop you. As long as you enjoy your life, that’s what matters. Each one of us has a role to play in this universe. Not everyone wants the same thing.

For me, though, I believe that there’s more to life than just that, and I’m going to do everything in my power to make it happen!

Until next time…

Is Your Mindset Holding You Back?

One of the biggest obstacles I’m seeing in the Online Marketing Industry is simple: Mindset. If your Mindset is holding you back, I can help you.

I used to struggle with a poor mindset. Not poor in financial means, but poor as in bad. Over the past year, I have worked greatly on my mindset and I am now a completely different person than I was before. I am much stronger, confident, outgoing, etc… This is not to say I don’t have anything left to conquer… Working with your mindset is a lifetime task.

You are constantly presented with ideas, which in turn, turn into your beliefs. Your beliefs rule your mindset, and thus, you yourself. But, I have good news. If you don’t like how you are, there is hope. You can change your mindset, and in doing so, change yourself.

I’ve often heard it said, if you don’t like how something is, wait five minutes and it will change. I’ve usually heard it applied to the weather in certain cities. But this is true of anything. What you feed yourself mentally determines how you see things.

I’ve seen countless case studies of how belief shapes a person. For example, a student believes they are bad at math and they just don’t get it. The student’s poor grades “confirm” that fact. In essence, however, they have led themselves to believe that they are bad in math, and therefore, the reflective grades only “prove” to the student that they were right.

I’ve heard this compared to being hypnotized, in that a hypnotist plants a certain suggestion in the subject and convinces him that it is true. Once the subject “believes” that whatever it is, is true, it happens. Such as in the case of a weight lifter being told that he absolutely could not lift a pencil off of a desk, when normally he could lift over 400 pounds over his head.

When we feed ourselves thoughts and ideas every day that we can or can not do something, our mind kicks into gear in order to make those thoughts and ideas true.

So, I have to ask you. Is your mindset holding you back? Is there some thought or idea there that you can’t do something? If so, let’s try for the next 21 days to re-program your mindset. Reverse those negative limiting beliefs into positive beliefs. Is there something you want to do, but think you can’t? Tell yourself you can. Convince yourself in your mind that you can do that. Visualize yourself doing what you have been wanting to do at night before you go to bed, in the morning as you wake up, and as many times during the day that you can. Visualize your goal and try not to just see it, but hear it, smell it, taste it, and touch it. When you involve all of your senses, it makes the experience much more vivid and memorable.

If you can do this for the next 21 days, I’m certain that whatever your limiting belief was, will be just a distant memory, and a new you will have emerged, doing and being the person you want to be. It starts with you. Shed the negative limiting beliefs and stand tall with your new image of yourself. I believe in you. You should believe in yourself now.

Until next time…

When you are broke, you often suffer from a mentality of lack. That is not going to bring good things into your life. You often stop wishing for things. Shopping becomes a thing that you dread because you feel like you can’t buy anything that you want, just what you need to survive. You need to get out of that place in your head. Stop telling yourself stories that you can’t afford whatever it is that you are wanting because indeed, you will get just that.

Instead, take a window-shopping trip. Look at all the things that you want. You know you can use those Bridal and Baby Registries. Just pick one of those up, and yes, you’ll need to enter false details, but have fun with it. Go all around the store and scan all of the things that you would like to have. Think of how great you will feel when you have them. Think as if you already have them. Maybe enter the date of the event as the time that you want to have all of these things in your life. Instead of registering for china and bedspreads or bottles and diapers, check out that computer or that Wii or MP3 player, or that beautiful outfit you would love to have. Allow yourself to dream. Print out your registry and then look at it every morning, imagine how you feel having those things. Visualize yourself using the items. Think about what it feels like to use them. Use all of your senses. When in the store, touch the items and remember how they feel, and how they make you feel using them. Let this be a fun experience for you.

You can also go online and download pictures of the things you want. The new car or house, the radical looking computer, the huge amethyst geode you see in office building lobbies, the digital picture frames, the home decor items you’d love to have in your house, whatever it is that you want. Save the pictures to your computer and then create a movie with it. Put some awesome motivating music to it, usually something fast and fun. Keep it short – a minute is probably more than enough time, and then watch it each morning to start your day and get you motivated. Then find a way that you begin achieving those things that you want.

Above all, start the dream process again. Think from a standpoint of abundance. Be happy with what you have right now, and be grateful for all you will be receiving.

Mindset is one of the most critical skills you can learn when it comes to becoming successful.  If you don’t have the preconceived belief that you are a successful person, then you are not going to be successful no matter what you do.  You have to believe in yourself first before anyone else will.  I hope to contribute content here to help you develop a positive mindset to become successful in every area in your life, whether it be your personal life or business life.

I am a Networking Mompreneur.  So, for me, it’s both personal and business.  I have heard from just about everyone that I am connected with in network marketing, that Mindset is the number one area that you need to have in place before you can become successful.  I started my path on re-discovering my personal growth prior to my search (again) for an online opportunity to make money from home.  I think it was integral in finding the opportunity that I did.  And because I believe so highly in the Law of Attraction and Mindset, I decided to share my nuggets of knowledge with everyone.

If there is ever an area that you would like me to cover in regards to Mindset or the Law of Attraction, please let me know.  I am here to help others, so would love to know what you think and what you want information on.

May you have a very blessed (by deity of choice) day!  And don’t forget – you are the creator of your day – create a great one!

Positively Successful

As Featured On EzineArticles

I believe that if we can change our thought patterns from the negative focus that we are trained from a very young age to think in, to a positive focus, that we can achieve greatness.

Often, when we start to dream big, we back off.  For so long we’ve been told to not get our hopes up, that we’ll only be disappointed.  But I say why not?  Why not dream big?  There is a saying, “Shoot for the Moon, even if you miss, you’ll land amongst the Stars”.  You may not get exactly what you dream for, but you can get somewhere really close.  And perhaps, equally as satisfying.

I believe in the Law of Attraction.  What you think about, you receive.  So, if you continue thinking in negative terms, then that is what you will get.  But, if you can turn those negative thoughts around and turn them into positive thoughts, you will be amazed at how you feel, and what you receive as a result of your thoughts.

I have been a very negative thinker.  I still do have negative thoughts.  Thirty-six years of training to think negatively is hard to change.  But I work on it a little each day.  And each day is brighter than the next.  I started off with a few simple things.  I wanted to be loved and appreciated.  With thinking those thoughts, I changed a pattern of being written up at work, to being given awards and accolades and being told how much my hard work is appreciated.  I can tell you, that really feels great.  My relationship with my husband went from hum-drum to being loved and adored and small little things being done for me.  The constant flow of affection is wonderful.

I did ask for money.  But, I realized why I wasn’t getting it.  I’m not ready yet.  I’m still thinking thoughts that block me from receiving what I think I want.  In a way, I’m scared.  I’m scared that if I suddenly come into a lot of money, that I’ll be expected to act a certain way.  The perception that rich people are snobs and pretentious is what scares me.  I don’t want to become that way.  I don’t want to look down at people who don’t have what I have.  I don’t want to be expected to have certain things, like a mansion and a sporty car.

What I would like to have, is a perfect and efficient home for me and my family.  One that is sustainable.  One that I’m not spending forever taking care of or having to hire someone to take care of for me.  Now, I might hire a landscaper, they are useful.  But, I do want my home to be efficient.  To be able to house our massive collection of books and DVD’s in built in shelves.  A more efficient computer room to make it more comfortable and more of an office space, rather than a small bedroom converted to a computer room, that is cramped and there not being enough room for making it an efficient space.  Perhaps a closet that is a true walk-in closet, big enough that there is no crowding; you are not shoulder to shoulder with clothing.  A nice deep jetted tub would be nice for soothing the aches away when needed, yet, a nice roomy shower for everyday use.  A nice sunroom with lots of crystals, the big amethyst geode types, and whatever else suits my fancy as to whatever metaphysical properties I might be looking for. And one of those humongous suede covered pillows (sometimes called LoveSacs) – they are so comfortable to be in.  As you can see, it’s relatively simple things that please me.  Not big grandiose “status” symbols.  I could care less about that.  I just want to be me.  I march to the beat of my own drum, and I’d like to stay that way.

Now that I’ve clarified what it is that I want, I believe that it will come to manifest.  Belief is half that battle.  If you don’t believe that you can receive what you want, then guess what?  You will not receive it.  You have to believe.  You can be, do, or have anything that you want.  You just have to believe in it and match your thoughts to the frequency to receive it.

People often say, how can I think I’m a success if I’m not successful yet?  Well, you have to start somewhere, and you don’t want to start by thinking that you aren’t a success.  To manifest change in anything, you have to change yourself.  Everything you have right now is a product of your thoughts and beliefs.  If what you have right now is not what you want, or is not your dream, then you need to change the way you think and believe in order to be able to manifest the changes you want to see.  Get clear in your mind of what you want.  Write it down.  Put pictures up for you to see of the things you want.  Give yourself something to focus on.  And make sure that the thoughts you are thinking are in line with what you want and that they are positive.  Make sure you are not putting a negative spin on things.  Don’t qualify a thought with a negative ending.  Such as, I want “something” free of “something else”.  When you do that, you are still focusing on the negative, even though you think that you are turning the thought positive.  Just leave that last part out and focus on just the main thing.  For example, if you want more money, don’t say I want more money without being in debt to anyone.  Just say, I want more money.  Perhaps you can add, money flows to me freely and easily.  Leave the “without fear”, “free of pain”, “no more problems”, and other statements of the like, out of your thought patterns.  State clearly and concisely what you want, period.

When you find yourself thinking those negative thoughts again, just stop, back up, and change it.  The instant you change it to a positive thought, it will instantly put you back on the positive frequency to receive that which you are wanting.

There is something else to consider when you are thinking about wanting more money.  When asking for more money, leave out any thoughts of “paying off bills”, “getting out of debt”, and other similar thoughts.  Because when you are thinking those things, you are still focusing on your bills and your debt and whatnot and therefore attracting more of the same to yourself.  Envision yourself with money coming to you freely and easily and it flowing in and out of your life with ease and you having everything that you want.  Picture yourself happy.  Think about how you will feel once you have all this money flowing to you freely and easily.

Another thing you can do is to feel good about yourself now, be thankful for your situation now.  The power of feeling good right now and being grateful for what you currently have, even though it may not be exactly what you want (because it is the fruits of your previous thoughts) will help put you in line with the frequency you need to be on to achieve and manifest those things that you truly do want.

So, start today.  Get clear in your mind what it is that you want.  Write it down.  Gather pictures of it.  Do whatever it takes to put your focus on achieving and manifesting your dreams.

Dream Big.  Dream Often.  Dream Well.

Here is to your success.  May it be everything you dreamed of and more.

How to Achieve Success in 3 Simple Steps

How to Achieve Success in 3 Simple Steps

  1. Believe in Yourself
  2. Successful Thinking
  3. Be Grateful

Believe in Yourself

You have to start out with believing in yourself.  If you don’t believe in yourself, who else will?  Believe that you have the power for greatness.  That you can change the world.  That you can be successful.  It may be hard at first, but you can do it.  You have to.  Belief is a very powerful thing.  It sets into motion, that which you are believing.

Successful Thinking

Start thinking you are a success.  You may say, “Well, I’m not successful yet”.  That’s okay.  You need to start thinking you are successful to bring about that success.  What you think will start to manifest, and then you will be successful.  If you have problems thinking of yourself as a success, think about what you can do that will make you feel successful.  Just something small.  And then do that.  Once you achieve that small step of success, it may make it easier for you to start feeling successful.

Be Grateful

Wake up in the morning and think of all the things you have to be thankful for.  Make every day a Thanksgiving.  Let the Universe, Spirit, Deity (whatever you believe in) know what you are grateful for.  It might be as simple as you are alive.  Or that you have a roof over your head and food in your stomach.  Or that you have a wonderful spouse or child.  Whatever it is, say thank you for it and let it be known how grateful you are for it.  Once you start being grateful for things, then it changes your mindset to be thankful and grateful for all the new wonderful things that will come into your life.

Embrace life and make it what you want to be.  Believe in yourself, think successful thoughts, and be grateful for all the wonderful things in your life.  You will see your life changing for the good.  You will see yourself as a success.

What do your beliefs say about you?

Your thoughts and beliefs control your life experiences.  You are drawn to the things and the experiences to prove to yourself that your beliefs are correct.  So, if you believe that you don’t have enough money and you never will, guess what?  You won’t have enough money and you never will.  Because that’s what you believe.  You are drawing to you the experiences that will make that belief true to you.  You attract what you think about and what you believe.  So, be careful about what you think about and believe.  Be aware of your thoughts and beliefs and you can create the life you desire.  Your desires control your destiny.  So, start today, creating a better life, by being more aware of your beliefs and thoughts, getting rid of the negative ones and the ones that are not bringing you what you want, and create new, positive thoughts and beliefs that will bring to you what you want.
